Tesla seems to be a bit obsessed with Nurburgring. Lately, it had been busy in breaking records of Porsche Taycan on that track. In fact, we saw the automaker introduce this all-new Plaid Model S. Now, once more Tesla is catching everyone’s attention with its presence on the famous racing circuit. Apart from doing test runs with the new plaid Model S, Tesla has installed a supercharger at the Nurburgring race track.

Tesla will soon do more running on the track. Being an electric car, it can unleash its full potential when it’s changed completely. So, probably that’s why Tesla installed the supercharger at Nurburgring. Though it may look like a temporary charging point, Tesla confirms that it is a permanent supercharger.

This new supercharger on the Nurburgring is not yet showing up on Tesla’s map. Besides, there are no details on the power output of this supercharger. However, we can hope Tesla’s new plaid powertrain Model S will perform its best now, that it has its own supercharger.

The all-electric Porsche Taycan currently holds the record for being the fastest four-door sedan on Nurburgring. After Taycan’s grand release, Elon Musk declared Tesla Model S will hit the Nurburgring circuit.
