Description

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is an upcoming fully-electric luxury SUV. It is the first vehicle model of the Mercedes EQ family. The production version was revealed on the 4th of September. There’s no official info on when its production will start in 2019. The German automaker also confirmed that production of the EQC will take place in China in 2019.

Design

The striking feature is the headlamps and air inlet which blends into the black-panel surface. The interior design is pretty modernistic. Both inside and exterior the Mercedes EQC reflects luxury intent designs.

The instrument panel is very driver-oriented. Both in volume and complexity, its upper section is reduced to what is essential. The major highlight of the driver’s end is the high-tech, high gloss cassette housing flat air vents.  It comes with a key-shaped, rose gold colored louvers.

Performance

The EQC packs the latest generation of a lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery for both electric motors. The overall cooling system of the EQC consists of a heat pump function and two electric PTC heater boosters.  The Mercedes EQC battery system is liquid-cooled. At low temperatures, a battery heater ensures outstanding performance and efficiency. Mercedes-Benz EQC has two asynchronous motors – one for the front axle and one for the rear axle. System output of theEV stands at 300 kW with 765 Nm Torque.

Price

The Mercedes EQc is yet to enter production. So, there is no official information on its pricing. We will update the same when it will be available.
