The startup claims that RV 400 is the first artificial intelligence-powered electric commuter bike of the country. It has a top speed of 85 Km/h and can cover a range of 156 Km. The bike can be started with a dedicated app called MyRevolt. Initially, this bike will be available in Delhi and Pune. In the coming months, the sales and availability of the RV 400 will span across various states.

The RV 400 was scheduled to release on July 2019. However, as of recent updates, the EV may release in August. The pre-booking of this bike is still open. Ather is popular for its smart electric scooter Ather 350 and ather 450. The firm has also developed AtherGrid for EV charging. Their investors include popular business faces such as Flipkart, Hero Motocorp, Tiger Global, etc.

This start-up has its own experience centers called Ather Space which it believes will enhance the customer experience. It is working on an autonomous cargo vehicle targetting a commercial usage. This EV will have private spaces and it can carry payload up to 1 tonne. Their proposed EV goes by the name of Sherpa.

As per its makers, the Sherpa can deliver payload continuously for eight hours on a single session of charge. They are still working on perfecting their product. Now that India has a wide array of electric vehicles in the commuter segment, ATI Motor’s Sherpa will carve a niche for themselves in the cargo management section.
