According to new reports, driving Electric Vehicles rather than fossil fuel-powered automobiles reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions to half. The research also suggests that shifting to an electronic vehicle is a great way to save the planet from pollution. Electric vehicles are the plug-in automobiles that run with an electric motor. Rechargeable batteries power them. So, whenever you need to recharge the batteries; just find a charging station and go-ahead. Most of the electric vehicle owners prefer to install a charging station at their home. It gives them ease of using. However, public places such as cinema halls, shopping malls, and stations will receive EV charging stations soon.

Most of the electric vehicles run for 100 to 150 miles before the batteries completely drain. But engineers predict that batteries of electric vehicles can last for 400 miles in a decade.

What Make Electric Vehicles Suddenly Go Viral?

There were over 3 million electric vehicles in use across the globe by the end of 2018. The year 2019 is soon going to end. But the number of electric vehicles are on-road today is quite higher than it was in the previous year. The last sales forecast shows a significant increase of 23% of sales in electric cars’ selling compared to sales in 2017-18. This shift is possible because more and more people switching to electric vehicles from fossil fuel-powered vehicles.

Electric vehicles are cheaper to run on-road compared to the vehicles running using fossil fuel. This is another great news about electric vehicles that caught people’s attention. Besides, electric vehicles are exempt of certain taxes and levies. Again, motorists driving electric vehicles can skip the congestion charge. Though electric vehicles cost a little high in the first phase, buying one certainly is worth every penny. The most popular electric vehicle to date is the Nissan Leaf with 300,000 pieces sold globally. The second most favorite electric vehicle is the Tesla Model S with 213,000 pieces sold globally.

Electric vehicles also accelerate faster than a fossil fuel-powered vehicle. EVs are more eco-friendly vehicles than petrol-fueled vehicles. Because EVs have no exhaust emissions and emit no pollutants. Longer battery life, lowest price, and the number of accessible charging points are the factors that persuade vehicle owners to make the switch.

The effect of an EV now is in full force. With established brands committing to offer new and a wide range of affordable electric cars in the future, vehicles running with petrol and diesel are seeing sales falter. Prices of EVs are falling, models are diversifying and this all because of increased investment in manufacturing EVs & rolling out charging points at suitable locations.
