Finally, after weeks of teasing and creating hype, Porsche Taycan has unveiled for the public. The top variants of the Taycan have revealed at an event at the Niagra falls. The design of the Taycan is very similar to the original concept Mission E car. There are also base variants which will release in the future.

We now also have the official spec sheet for the first electric sports car from Porsche. The car packs a motor of 560kW which offers a peak power of 761PS. The sedan offers a peak torque of 1,050 Nm. It can cover a range of 450km based on WLTP. Also, it runs on a battery pack of 93.4 kWh. The Taycan comes with a stock 11 kW charging cable.

This sports sedan brings a two-speed transmission system. It can hit 0-100km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds. It also has a top track speed of 260 km/h (162 mph).

Recently, the Taycan was tested on the Nurburgring race track. Prior to its launch, there was a test run carried out on the deck of USS Hornet. Also, like any other EV, it offers regenerative braking system. Its braking capacity is of 265kW.

The interior of the Taycan is very sporty. the seating arrangement is quite compact. It just perfectly fits the bill of a sports car.  It offers moderate storing space on the rear and front end.

Now, let’s talk about the price of the Porsche Taycan. Currently, the Turbo and Turbo S versions have revealed. these are the top-end models. So, their pricing starts at $150,000.
