Just one day left for the public unveiling of the Porsche Taycan. However, the hype regarding the electric supercar continues to spread. The premium electric car has conducted another speed test. This time the Porsche Taycan test run was carried out an aircraft carrier USS Hornet. In this, the Taycan recorded a 0-145 km/h launch in 10.7 seconds. Professional racer Shea Holbrook was driving the Taycan.

The car launched to 90.58mph in 10.7 seconds. Again during deceleration, it took 10 seconds to get down to 0. The aircraft carrier has a deck length of 869 feet. Shea applied the brakes at 422 feet.

This is not the first speed test carried out on the Taycan. Recently, the Taycan set a record by covering 20km of Nurburgring track in only 7 minutes 42 seconds.

According to Porsche, the aircraft carrier deck has an uneven surface. Now, the test runs on this surface has been quite successful. So, for the regular users, the Taycan will perform even better on regular smooth roads.

Racer Holbrook says that the Porsche electric coupe was really stable during acceleration and braking. Overall, the taycan offers great driving experience. It has a good hold over various terrains. this premium car will launch on 4th September 2019.
