Lohia auto which happens to be one of the oldest EV makers of India is planning to launch electric two-wheelers. It already has a rich experience in making electric 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers.

This Indian EV maker has a good number of credentials. It is the only automaker which has a registration with UNFCC. Besides, it is also a founder member of SMEV. It is the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles. Lohia Auto is also a member of SIAM(Society of Automobile Manufacturers).

CEO of Lohia Auto says that by next year they will have the new two-wheelers ready to hit the market. In the meantime, they will tweak the electric 3-wheeler line up. They will make changes in the design of their e-rickshaw segment. They will also modify 2 of their electric autos.

According to us, it is a confident and well-timed move from the automaker. Currently, the Indian EV industry is experiencing the boom. We have many new EV makers joining the domain in recent times. In fact, popular and old brand names are also producing electric two-wheelers.

So, EV enthusiasts will definitely get more options for sustainable two-wheelers. This also indicates an increasing competition in the electric vehicles market. Overall, we can consider this as one more step towards sustainable eco-system.
