Description
Tata Tigor EV is an all-electric sedan from the Indian automobile manufacturer TATA. It comes in two variants. Tigor EV XT and Tigor EV XM. This electric vehicle has single-speed automatic transmission. It is currently under production. This sustainable vehicle comes under vehicle category type M1.
Performance & range
It is a mid-range Sedan that can hit 0-60 Km/h in 12 seconds. This car has a top speed of 80 Km/h. It makes use of a 3-Phase AC induction motor which teams up with a 16.2kWh battery. It can provide a torque of 105 Nm at 2500 RPM. Also, it produces a power of 40 bhp at 4500rpm.
Features
This electric vehicle has an electrical power steering. The Tigor Ev uses Independent, Lower Wishbone, McPherson Strut with Coil Spring on the front suspension. On the rear suspension, it has Semi-Independent twist beam with dual path strut.
Charging
It has AC charging standard and DC Fast charging standard BEVC-AC001 and BEVC-DC001 respectively. The normal charging time of Tigor EV is 6 hours(0-80%). If the Ev is charged using 15kW fast charger, then it will take only 90 minutes to charge.
Price
The Tata Tigor EV XM model costs 10.99 Lakhs INR. similarly, the Tata Tigor EV XT model costs 11.09 Lakhs.
