To make its best-selling cars more affordable, Tesla slashed the price of the best selling Model 3 by $1,000. Speaking of which, currently, a Tesla Model 3 will cost $38,990. At the same time, Tesla has also scrapped the standard variations of Model X and Model S. It has raised the minimum costs for these models which the users will have to pay for those cars.
The base version of the Tesla Model S has spiked up to $79,990. At the same time, the Tesla Model X has increased to $84,900. As per the Tesla officials, this price hike and availability is just similar to the way other car companies do. Adding to this price rise, the new update for Model S and X will bundle the Ludicrous mode.
Also, tesla’s CEO Elon Musk recently tweeted that Tesla cars with full self-driving capabilities will get a hike of $1,000. This price hike will be effective from 16th August 2019.
As mentioned earlier this year, cost of the Tesla FSD option will increase every few months. Those who buy it earlier will see the benefit.

So, those price conscious enthusiasts who may want to get a Tesla for themselves, then they can now go for the Tesla Model 3. This particular model of Tesla is a hot favorite of users. Following a crash testing, the Model 3 received five stars in every category from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and 94% NCAP score for improved safety measures.
