IONITY has unveiled its high-powered DC chargers at the Frankfurt Motor Show. These chargers have a power of  350kW. They have a height of up to 2.6 meters. Also, the new IONITY DC chargers come with multi-functional LED lighting rings.

These LED lighting will help the drivers who are traveling in the night. Its lighting will enable the EV drivers to find their way to the charging stations. Also, the LED lights will serve as a source of light in the darkness of the night. This will again help the drivers to charge their EVs in lighting.

These new IONITY DC chargers come with HMI screens. This is the Human-Machine Interface. This time there is also a vast improvement in the charging cable management. IONITY’s charging network has its presence in over 24 European nations. In fact, all of these chargers get their power from renewable sources of energy. In the coming days, other existing DC chargers will get a new software upgrade. Their charging capability will also improve after the update.

Generally, EV users usually prefer DC charging. The reason is quick charging time as compared to the domestic AC charging set up. Normally, a DC charger will juice up an EV up to 80% or more in almost one hour. Some of them even do it in only 30 minutes.
