When we talk about Tesla cars, the discussion always shifts to the amazing features the electric car packs. Tesla is a pioneer when it comes to fusing modern-day technology into one machine. We know the automaker always keeps working on improving its cars. Every software update for a Tesla car brings some new feature. At the same time, it also improves the existing attributes. These features usually range from important ones to funny and entertaining ones. Important features include the security and functional aspect of the Tesla cars. In fact, Tesla is one of the most secure cars you will come across. So, today we have collected and put up some interesting features of Tesla cars which everybody may not be aware about. So, check it out below.
Some interesting features of the Tesla car
These are some of the features you will find on almost all of the tesla machines. All of these updates are usually introduced with the regular software upgrades which the American automaker pushes out for its cars. All the unique features of tesla cars mentioned here don’t really follow any specific order as such.
The Sentry Mode
in one of our previous posts, we have explained this important feature in details. Basically, it enables various sensors and hidden cameras that monitor the surrounding of your tesla car. In case, you have parked your car in front of an eatery and went to bring your lunch. While you were away some thugs may want to break-in your car or steal it.
However, with the Sentry mode activated, the camera will capture the intruder/criminal while mingling with your machine. The user will receive an alert message on his tesla smartphone app. The hooligan won’t even know for one second that he is being monitored. There have been countless incidents where miscreants have been spotted from the Tesla sentry mode camera footages.
The sentry mode has also been useful in identifying and nabbing the vehicles that cause hit-and-run with a Tesla.

Enhanced Summon
The best thing about Tesla is the amount of innovative automation it implements on its cars. these features make things more convenient for users. Here is one such latest features called the enhanced summon. As the name suggests, it enables the car owner to summon his car from the parking area. So, the car comes out of the parking on its own.
To enable it, go to the touch display. In the Enhanced Summon go to Autopilot. Then toggle the Summon option to enable it.
However, users must keep in mind that the enhanced summon feature works only when the vehicle’s battery level is 20% or more. Besides, Tesla has previously mentioned that this feature will consume a lot of power in the car.
Stop Light Warning
We often see people irrespective of commuting on a car or bike to their destinations get really worried when they see a stop signal. Almost every other day we see someone getting booked by the traffic for jumping the signal.
So, here is this feature of Tesla cars that will warn the driver about the stop signal. So, it will make the rider aware of the traffic signal. However, there is no provision to apply the brakes automatically when the car comes across a stop signal.
May be Tesla will think something innovative regarding this. In the future, we may get to see automated brakes on the Tesla cars for the traffic signals.
Valet Mode
Now, this one is an important feature that ensures your personal data remains secure. When the valet mode is enabled, it will hide all the personal details of the rider which is present on the touchscreen panel. It will also lock the frunk and the glove compartment.
Chill Mode
There are many of us who ride on cars and bikes but always choose to ride slow. Tesla exclusively brings a feature for such kind of riders. This feature is chill mode. It will ensure a simple and smooth riding experience for the users.
Track Mode
This particular feature is for those people who have a taste for speed. As the name suggests it will turn the regular Tesla into a drift machine. This feature can be implemented on the racing tracks. This feature also comes with other associated features. This includes increased regenerative braking, support of motor torque rotation, and pro-active powertrain cooling. Usually, when a car excessively drifts over the track, it generates a lot of heat.
So, the temperature of the battery drops down significantly. Also, in between the drive sessions, the drive units cool themselves down sufficiently.
Ludicrous Mode
Again, another feature for the speed mongers. With Ludicrous mode enabled, your tesla will hit 0-100km/h in an astonishing 2.8 seconds. In case you are wondering how to let’s break this down for you.
The constancy of torque in a tesla car is maintained by controlling the amount of current flowing through the contractors and the electric motors. However, when Ludicrous mode is enabled, it activates a safety fuse and separate contractor. This contractor can easily sustain a current of 1300 amps to 1500 amps.
So, with more current, the electric motor will now produce more power. Also, this power will sustain for a longer duration. All of this results in high-end acceleration.
Tesla Network
This is one of the most interesting features of Tesla that we expect to get implemented in the near future. It will basically refer to a fleet of self-driving taxis. when the owner is not using his tesla, these cars can be used as taxis and earn revenue for the owner. In fact, this can be a major source of revenue for Tesla. Secondly, it will also spread sustainability. Instead of ICEVs, people will get to hire electric cabs.
So, that’s it, folks. These were some of the interesting features of Tesla. We hope you enjoyed knowing these facts in case you did not know them before.
