Difference between Revolt RV 300 and RV 400: Pricing & Specifications

There is a lot of confusion going on about the pricing of RV 300 and RV 400 among the enthusiasts. so, we will start by explaining the concept of payment for both RV 300 and RV 400.

Payment of Revolt RV 300 and RV 400 Explained

RV 300

If you like RV 300 and want to buy one, then you have to pay an initial amount of Rs 10,000. Let’s break down this amount. Rs 2,999 will be the monthly installment(for the 1st month). Rs 5,000 will be for 3 years 4G connectivity. The installment amount is Rs 2,999 for a period of 37 months. Rs 3,000 for one+two year extended warranty for damage.

Then from the 2nd month, you have to pay only Rs 2,999. This amount is what you will pay for the upcoming 36 months. There is no requirement of any separate downpayment.

RV 400

Obviously being the bigger variant packed with all kind of lucrative features, the RV 400 costs more. If you want to buy this electric bike, then you need to make an initial payment of Rs 20,499. Then for the rest of the 36 months, you have to pay Rs 3499 for the base variant of RV 400 and Rs 3999 for the premium one.

Power and Performance

The RV 400 runs on a 3kW hu motor whereas its younger sibling, the RV300 gets its power from a 1.5kW motor. there is also a striking difference between the speed of both the 300 and 400 variants.

As we know, the Revolt bike comes with various modes for the speed. In RV 300, in the Eco-mode bike’s top speed is 25km/h. In normal mode, it offers 45km/h and in sports mode 65km/h.

Coming to RV 400, in Eco mode, it will exhibit 45km/h top speed. If you switch to Normal mode it will run at 65km/h. Finally, if you switch over to the sports mode 80km/h.

Tyre and Braking System

Revolt Motors has left no modern touch on its debut machines. The braking system is pretty solid with ABS and disc brakes. Both Rv 300 and RV 400 use 240mm disc brake on the front. however, on the rear end, Rv 300 has 180mm of the disc as compared to RV400 which has a 240mm disc.

There is also a difference in the tire set up. Both Rv300 and RV400 have 90-section MRF tire on their front end. However, rear tire of Rv300 is slimmer with 110-section rubber. Rv400 stays slightly ahead with the 120-section tire.

Miscellaneous Design

This is probably for the first time in india, a bike has been designed with unique-footpeg adjustment. RV300 has a footpeg which can be adjusted in six different manners. However, in RV 400, you can only adjust the footpeg in two ways.

Previously, we all know that Rv400 can be started using the MyRevolt App. However, the younger sibling Revolt RV 300 doesn’t have this feature. Of course, both the bikes support mechanical key-enabled ignition.

Also, we have previously seen that RV 400 comes with 4 types of the artificial exhaust sound. RV 300 doesn’t have this feature.

App Connectivity

This is perhaps the only section in which both the bikes have an equal share. Both in RV 300 and RV 400, all the App functions are supported. The rider can check the battery status, battery delivery tracking and enable geo-fencing on both RV 300 and 400.

Revolt Motors has not compromised on the core USP of its flagship – 4G-enabled app-based features – in the RV300. You get all the functions as the RV400 like battery status check, SOS battery delivery, geo-fencing, and Revolt Switch.
