Tesla may or may not break the record of Porsche but sure it makes cars which are highly safe. In fact, the Tesla Model 3 has won the IIHS top safety award SafetyPick+. It becomes the second electric car to win the award. The first-ever electric vehicle to earn this rating was the 2019 Audi e-tron.

Model 3 has won a 5-star rating in the lowest probability of injury ever tested. It has set a new safety technology benchmark. The Model 3 has won a 5-star rating from Australiasian and Euro NCAP.

To earn such a rating vehicle has to get a good rating on various tests. This includes driver-side overlap front, roof strength, head restraint tests. The vehicle must have an effective crash prevention system. It also must pack good headlights. The headlights should not cause glare to the incoming front vehicles and commuters.

Along with the driver side, the vehicle should also get a good rating for the test on the passenger side. agin the vehicle has to go through overlap tests and headlight quality check.
