Description

The electric Mini Cooper SE is BMW’s first all-electric car. It was revealed on July 9, 2019. The production of this vehicle will begin this November at the Oxford plant. It may start to deliver the vehicle from March 2020.

Features

It has great agility with power-packed performance, low center of gravity, and wheel slip limiting close to the actuator. It has a similar design of the Mini 3 Door. The standard equipment set includes LED headlamps,2-zone automatic AC, auxiliary heating, electric parking brake, and connected navigation.

Acceleration

This EV can reach zero to 60 km/h in 3.9 seconds and from zero to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.

Motor and Charging

This vehicle has an electric motor with 135 kW/184 hp and 270 Nm torque. The Mini Cooper SE comes with a Lithium-ion battery that enables a range of 235 to 270 km. It can be charged domestically or in public DC stations. The EV supports fast charging up to 50 kW.

Price

The EV is yet to enter production, so there is no official information of the vehicle price. However, as per hearsays, Mini Cooper SE may cost around $30,000.
