What Makes Hyundai to Choose 3 Companies for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Manufacturing?
Impact Coating AB is a leading supplier of PVD-based coating solutions for fuel cells, providing machines, coating materials, and services. Hyundai and Impact Coating will jointly research and develop next-gen materials, equipment, and processes for a variety of applications including hydrogen and fuel cell production to satisfy the mutually signed agreement.
Israeli startup, H2Pro develops E-TAC which is an electrochemical thermally active chemical that promotes water-splitting technology. This will lower the cost of hydrogen production which will automatically decrease the price of hydrogen for Hyundai’s customers. This is the second investment by Hyundai on any startup and the first one is made in November 2018.
Hyundai partners with Switzerland based hydrogen energy storage technology specialist GRZ Technologies to accelerate efforts for commercializing hydrogen infrastructure and can make accessible to customers worldwide.
