To make electro-mobility easier and stylish, TronX has launched an electric scooter in India. It goes by the name FTS.02. This product is made by the joint venture between TronX and Freego Global.

The makers are aiming for the shared mobility markets with the FTS.02. This scooter is currently available for test runs. However, it is based on reservations. Those who want to purchase it can place their order in the last week of September.

TronX launched electric scooter

The FTS.02 electric scooter launched by TronX runs on a motor of 250 watts. It is capable of a top speed of 25kmph. Also, it can cover a range of 40km per charge. For the purpose of commuting it is pretty good. Also, the scooter comes with three riding modes.

Its battery pack comes with the IP67 rating. IP67 is a rating that signifies that the product is water and dustproof up to a certain level. This can be a factor that can add to the price of the product.

TronX has been in the Indian EV scenario since 2015. Earlier it was called Volta Motors. Back in 2018, it launched a crossover electric scooter TronX one.

There has been a steady rise in the development and launch of electric two-wheelers in India. We have brand names and new automakers butting heads in the EV market. Indian consumers are quite budget-conscious. Not everyone is going to buy an electric car which is costly. So, the next best alternative is electric two-wheelers. Automakers are leveraging on this point. Hence, we get multiple options for electric scooters in India.
