A new Mercedes-Benz sedan is going to launch at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. It will be a fully electric EQV. This fall the automaker is concentrating more on sustainable mobility. It will also unveil various other cars at the event. The Motor show will take place in September.

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz sedan may support eight passengers. Mercedes will launch the production model of this EQV at the motor show. The EQV may pack a top speed of 160 km/h. we can expect it to cover a range of 400 km. As of now, not much information is available about this sedan from Mercedes.

We can also expect some plug-in hybrid derivatives of Mercedes at the event. Earlier the automaker has introduced EQA and EQC electric SUV. The Mercedes EQC has a battery capacity of 80 kWh. It can travel up to a range of 259 miles. Also, the EQA is a fully-electric car compact car in the A-class segment.

Mercedes has no plans to bring forth a prodcution model of the EQA. However, there is a working prototype model of the EQA. This A-class EV packs a 60kWh battery and can cover a range of 400km.

The world is moving faster towards sustainable transportation. There are a number of automakers producing regular EVs for basic commuting. However, there are enthusiasts with premium taste.
