Popular Electric vehicle maker Tesla has launched a new EV charging station in Las Vegas. It is the V3 supercharger station that can support up to 1500 electric vehicles each day. A few months back, the auto-maker released its Supercharger that enables electric vehicles to charge at a rate of 250kW. Earlier every month up to 6500 vehicles could be charged at the Las Vegas station. However, now Tesla’s New Supercharger Station can accommodate 1500 vehicles on a daily basis.
Tesla’s new Supercharger station has 24 Supercharger V3 stalls. The company has also installed 15 levels 2 destination charge points at the Las Vegas Superchargers. The US EV maker has plans to implement solar energy in its supercharger station. This will help to optimize the cost of superchargers. Also, it will encourage the usage of renewable energy for juicing up the EVs.
