A new fully electric Mercedes Benz MPV has been unveiled officially. This one is the production version of the EQV. This MPV van released ahead of the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. back at the Geneva Motor Show Mercedes presented a concept Minivan. The design of the latest MPV van is similar to that of the concept van.
The electric Mercedes Benz MPV can cover a range of 405 kilometers. The EV packs a 100kWh battery pack. However, the usable capacity is 90kWh. This EQV comes with 11kW on-board charger. It supports DC fast charging. Around half an hour the MPV can recharge the battery pack up to 80%.
An electric motor of 150 kW output powers the Mercedes MPV. This EQV can achieve a top speed of 160 km/h (99 mph). The new electric van can accommodate 6 passengers. It also supports the extension of seats with the installation of bench seats. This will allow up to 7 or 8 passengers.
Commenting on its new electric MPV, Mercedes claims it to be highly functional. It says the van is eco-friendly and efficient in performance. The handling is smooth and the EV offers dynamic electro-aesthetics. Currently, the Mercedes Benz MPV van is under production in the official plant based in northern Spain. As of now, there is now information on its pricing and availability.
