2019 Pune Motor show brings us two new sustainable two-wheelers from Indian manufacturer. Avan electric scooter was unveiled at the Motor show. The manufacturer Avan Motors India has unveiled two scooters. The maker refers to them as concept models. These scooters are still going under development and testing phase. This means the EVs you seeing below are first prototypes.

Avan Electric scooter unveiled

As you can see there are three electric scooters in the line-up. They go by the name Xero, Xero+ and TrendE.

One of the scooters comes with 72 V 22Ah Lithium-ion battery pack. It can exhibit a range between 80 and 200 km in a single charge. This scooter has a top speed of 60km/h. This is quite better than other electric scooters which on an average offer a speed of 30kmph. It will equip 90/90-10 tires.

Now, the second concept model is the younger sibling of the duo. It packs a 60V 35Ah Lithium-ion battery system. The rider can easily get a range of 50 to 80 kilometers on this scooter. This one offers a top speed of 45kmph.

Avan electric scooter has a good braking system. On the front, you will get disc brakes while on the rear end you will have the regular drum brakes.

Avan Motors has big plans to lead the EV industry of India with its groundbreaking products. It is currently present in 10 Indian cities. However, it wishes. Besides it also has an aim to establish more than 100 dealerships throughout the country.

The Indian automobile industry is getting disrupted as new EV makers are stepping into the game each day. So, the competition will be pretty tough for Avan motors. They are yet to push their products into production. In the meantime, other EV makers are continuing to dominate the market. However, efficient products are always welcome in the market. So, we can hope for Avan Motors to fare well in the Indian EV industry.
