Tesla Roadster is the first electric car to launch into space. In February 2018, SpaceX launched the Falcon Heavy rocket. To fulfill the need for a dummy load in the rocket, Elon Musk thought to use a Tesla Roadster. Along with the electric car, a dummy spacesuit named starman was also made to sit on the driver seat. The rocket launch was successful.

Now, after more than 1 year of the launch, the Roadster has completed its first orbit around the sun. Currently, the Roadster is moving at a high speed in the space. A website whereisroadster has been tracking its movement live.  As per this site, the Roadster along with starman is moving towards the planet Mars. The car is moving towards the red planet at a speed of 41,869km/h.

Here is an image of the trajectory of Roadster as seen on whereisroadster. The green color represents the motion of the Roadster.
