Skoda is a Czech automobile manufacturer which began in the year 1895 as Laurin & Klement. Later in 1925 the Skoda works acquired it. In 2000, the Czech automotive became a fully owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen group.
It is one of the most successful automakers with a number of Sedans and SUVs under its belt. In 2015, the Chairman of this Czech firm decided to concentrate on electric vehicles. As per its Strategy 2025, the firm plans to drop a new all-electric vehicle in the coming year.
In 2020, Skoda has plans to release Citigo e iV a fully electric car. Also, it will release a plug-in hybrid called the Superb iV. Again, the Czech automaker has plans to introduce a natural gas and electric hybrid SUV called the Vision X.
