Opel is a German automaker whose founder is Adam Opel. The history of the company goes way back in 1862 when it was started. Opel produced its first bicycle in 1886. Later in 1899, it produced its first automobile. This automobile was owned by General Motors of America till 2017. Opel’s vehicle sells under the moniker of Vauxhall in the United Kingdom.
It is also experimenting with the segment of electric vehicles. Opel has plans to bring out a new EV called Corsa-e.
